    I hate posting negative reviews, and I do everything within my power to try and get to a resolution with a supplier before going down this route.

    We have 2 houses with systems commissioned y Xpert. From the outset there were intermittent issues with both systems.

    Whilst annoying, this was more of a nuisance during the warranty period, as they would come out and address the issues under warranty. As soon as the systems came out of warranty, our nightmares have began.

    Both systems continued to blow fuses (same issue as we've experienced whilst under warranty) only now Xpert energy wanted to be paid 120 pounds per call out. There were occasions where they'd pop round spend 1 minute to replace the fuse and pop the bill in the post for 120 pounds. This is instead of diagnosing and trying to get to the bottom of the issue which was there from the outset!

    Other issues include:
    Hugely overpriced service plan - they have a list of things they do as a part of an annual service which costs around 300 pounds. The reality is that on modern systems such as ours they don't even to 1/10th of the work, usually spending under 30 minutes on a service, yet still charging the 300 pounds. Speaking to engineer directly, and he couldn't articulate fully what was supposed to be done as a part of a service...

    Questionable practices - whilst discussing the price for a service renewal, we were promised a call back. Despite chasing a few times this never happened. When a few weeks later the system broke down again, they told us we're no longer on the service plan and wanted to charge double the price for a call out - 240 pounds instead of the usual 120. When we tried to explain that we were waiting for a call back, they took the hard line of, you didn't renew therefore you must pay the standard price. After 4 years of being on their service plan this was a very low blow.

    Taking 2 weeks to come out to do a repair in the middle of the winter. "sorry all engineers are booked out, we won't be able to get to you until..." not something you want to hear when you have no hot water or heating in the middle of a winter.
